Company Questions

Product Questions

What are the benefits of using a robot?

Our value proposition centres on addressing three major pain points affecting the hospitality industry:

  • Competitive customer experiences

  • Low productivity

  • Staff shortages

Our robot can provide faster turnaround for delivery of F&B, toiletries and gifts amongst other items. Whilst doing this it will eliminate repetitive work and free up staff to do more customer facing roles. It will also provide guests a more private and safe hotel experience with no need for delivery staff to enter the hotel.

What are the annual cost savings of using a robot?
What is the battery life of the robot?

24 Hours.

How long does it take to fully charge the robot?

4 Hours.

What are the dimensions of the robot?

535mm x 465mm x 845mm.

How much does the robot weigh?

29Kg.

How much weight can the robot carry?

10Kg.

How much internal space does the robot have?

32 Litres (348mm x 338mm), roughly three shopping bags worth of food.

How fast can the robot travel?

Up to 1.2m/s.

Are the robots stable?

The robots are stable, they use an electric vehicle suspension system, which enhances stability and allows them to deal with unexpected scenarios.

Are the robots waterproof?

The robots are not waterproof and should only be used indoors. The robots shouldn’t be used around pools or hot tubs to prevent corrosion due to water treatment chemicals. Any liquids stored inside should be stored in a closed container.

How does the robot know where it is going?

The robots move autonomously using a mixture of computer vision and GPS to pinpoint their exact location to the nearest inch.

The robot also has obstacle detection, its navigation algorithms realise three-dimensional autonomous localisation and mapping. At the same time, 3D ground detection sensors and the latest visual segmentation algorithm allow for greatly enhanced operational safety.

What maintenance is required?

The frequency of maintenance impacts the life and appearance of robots, thus it is vital to clean the critical sections of the robot on a regular basis, such as cleaning the screen with a soft tissue or cloth.

How do the robots work in lifts?

Dual mode communication allows the robot and the lift to maintain connection to the cloud, by communicating directly with the lift system, the robot is aware of which floor it has arrived at and is in constant control.

All this system requires is a quick and easy installation process by one of our engineers and it can be working immediately.

Do the robots have theft prevention measures?

The robot weighs 29 kg, will only operate inside the hotel and requires a new installation procedure if moved to a new location. It would be difficult to steal and is useless without our installation procedure, setup and navigation software.

Delivery Questions

How can I order a robot?

Get in touch with us through our website and a member of our sales team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Can I use more than one robot?

We can provide as many robots as customers require, with synchronised operation being a key feature of our product. Robots can prioritise tasks and give way to each other based on importance.

Our net savings calculations are based on a comparison with a minimum wage worker, freeing up their time to perform higher value customer facing tasks. Although the comparison shows a net cost for smaller hotels, these locations probably don’t have to staff available to perform 24/7 room service. Our robot removes the need for food delivery personnel to enter the hotel, creating a more secure environment and provides a new revenue stream from F&B. Any direct costs would be easily eclipsed by indirect revenues, customer satisfaction and staff productivity improvements.

The use of our robot also creates the opportunity to create new services, such as guiding guests to their rooms and providing gifts and welcome packages.

How quickly can a robot be delivered?

We aim to get our robots to you within a week of ordering however it depends on the availability of an engineer and our stock.
